2014-2015 Season Officially Underway!

It has been quite a busy few days since the girls have returned to the Haven two weeks ago. Preseason meetings have wrapped up as well as all the paperwork that we have to complete. Thursday we had our first official practice that was a test set of 8x100 on 3:00 from the blocks as fast as you could go. All of the girls returned ready to go and it was a great way to start off the season right!

This weekend was regatta weekend in Lock Haven. And as any alumni knows, You Gotta Regatta. Many of us went to get some yummy fried food and watch the boat races and fireworks throughout the weekend. Monday we had a dinner at Emily's river lot where we got to know the freshmen more and introduced them to our team and everyone set goals for themselves. Both short and long term that they will see everyday so they will be reminded of what needs to get done in and out of the pool.

Today we had our first practice and it was a nice practice to get us back into it! All freshmen were taught "the Haven Swimming way of swimming". We can't wait to see what's in store for us throughout the rest of the season and we can't wait to share it with everyone!
